Research is underway for the story of Frederic Van de Water, an American journalist and writer who lived in Dummerston, Vermont. Among his writings is a book entitled “Rudyard Kipling’s Vermont Feud” in which he claims to have been privy to information provided by Kipling’s adversary and brother-in-law revealing unknown facts which caused Kipling’s departure from Vermont.
